My Story
Hi! My name is Valentina and I am a Nutritional Therapist.
I have always felt a deep connection to nature. After completing my nursing studies, I moved to London and after 2 years working in hospital I began working at a health store, which opened my interest in herbs, vitamins and minerals.
During my early teenage years, I experienced irregular and painful periods, along with a few cysts on my ovaries, which eventually multiplied over time. Recognising that this wasn’t normal, I knew I needed to take action, especially since my fiancé (now my husband) and I planned to start a family in the next couple of years.
At that time, I believed I was living a healthy lifestyle. I regularly attended spin classes, followed a low-carbohydrate and low-fat diet, avoided sugar, and reduced the intake of animal products, feeling confident that I was doing everything right.
ENCOURAGED BY A COLLEAGUE, I began to delve deeper into nutrition, and enrolled at the College of Naturopathic Medicine. I quickly developed a passion for natural remedies and root cause approach to health. Throughout my studies, I asked many questions and worked to incorporate what I learned into my daily life, gradually transforming my entire lifestyle. Within a year, I was able to significantly reduce the number of cysts, much to my gynecologist’s surprise. My periods became more regular, and I simply felt better overall. In the meantime, one of my primary goals was to support my family, particularly my mother, which opened up my interest in thyroid function.

What is the role of a nutritional therapist, and what can you expect during a consultation?
Naturopathy takes a personalized, root-cause approach to help your body regain its health. As a nutritional therapist, my role involves gathering a comprehensive case history and asking numerous questions about your symptoms across various body systems. I ask about your past experiences, daily habits, and sometimes even your home environment. Every detail can provide valuable insights into which areas of your body may be out of balance and what future support your systems might require.
Your personalized protocol will typically include one or more of the following elements: specific food groups, recommended exercises, lifestyle modifications, and herbal or other supplements. It’s essential to remember that restoring your health is a process, as it took time for your body to become unbalanced. Consistency and patience are key.
Occasionally, your blood tests may not reveal any abnormalities, yet you still experience symptoms, and these should not be overlooked.
In our fast-paced lives, we get disconnected from nature and from one another. Re-establishing these connections, the healing power of nature, food, plants, and herbs is more important than ever.

FOLLOW-UP & Check-Ins 1:1 SESSION
- Duration: 30-40 minutes
